Mirus™: Conditional Action Plugin

HarvestMaster™ has worked closely with customers to create field data collection software that best serves their research and operation needs. Mirus™ allows researchers to collect and store data in an organized way. Mirus alone can enhance a researcher’s data-collecting experience. With plugins, your efficiency and thoroughness are taken to the next level. Because we have a wide range of customers, we didn’t want to complicate Mirus with functions that our users wouldn’t need. So, we created plugins, allowing you to create software that will meet your needs without cluttering your experience.

At HarvestMaster, we know that researchers care about collecting a vast array of data about their crops. Whether researchers are using our NIR sensors along with our GrainGage or other on-combine systems, we want things to run smoothly. The Conditional Action plugin is what allows that to happen.

With the Conditional Action plugin, customizations to systems controlled by Mirus can be made to allow a steadier workflow. If a crop needs to cycle through a GrainGage and then a NIR sensor, you can customize when the gates between each system open and close so that samples pass through at the right time without causing errors or unnecessary delays. Parameters within the Conditional Action plugin can be set for researchers interested in subsampling or collecting grain samples into the combine cab. The Conditional Action can be configured to only collect data from plots that meet certain weight thresholds. Several conditional actions can be programmed and run simultaneously, all with different evaluation points. If users want a gate to open when operators press Enter and a blower to turn on when a plot has been completed, the Conditional Action plugin can make that happen. This plugin can control multiple gates, samplers, and blowers at once.

All of this can be set up in Mirus before harvesting begins. Meaning operators can confidently do their job without worrying about making mistakes or operating with an out-of-sync combine and weigh system, causing inaccurate data. The Conditional Action plugin will require assistance from one of HarvestMaster’s Field Service Technicians as the programming for Mirus is quite technical. The examples listed in this article are general specifications. If you have questions about the possibility of more customized conditional actions, reach out to us, and we would be happy to help.

At HarvestMaster, we know time and accuracy are everything. Time saved collecting and double-checking data can be used to analyze data and come to conclusions faster than your competitors. Those things are only possible if users have the best technology and equipment available. Mirus gives users that edge over their competitors, and its plugins offer users a more all-in-one solution. The Conditional Action plugin isn’t the only plugin Mirus has available. Check out our other plugins to find out what works best for you.
