Since being introduced over two decades ago, HarvestMaster GrainGages have played a vital role in seed research. Supported by our patented slope and motion technology, the HarvestMaster HM 800 product family ensured the highest quality data and made HarvestMaster the most trusted name in the industry.
As the HM 800 product line has matured, certain parts have become increasingly difficult to source. Following up on the communication sent in 2019, we would like to provide some information about the future of the HM 800 product line and what you can expect over the next couple of years.
Below are two pictures, the 800 Classic and the 800 High Capacity GrainGages. If you own either of these two GrainGages, there is some important information we want you to be aware of:

- HarvestMaster will no longer replenish our inventory of replacement parts for the HM800 product family after 2024.
- We will continue to provide phone support and field service for the HM800 product family beyond 2024, but we can’t guarantee replacement parts will be available.
Although we plan to restock our inventory throughout 2024, there is already one part that is now unavailable with no replacement alternative. That part is the BDS Hybrid Module (Juniper Part Number 20261) and is found on any 800 High Capacity GrainGage with BDS. The BDS provides test weight data, and if the BDS Hybrid Module fails, your BDS will no longer function, and steps must be taken to disable it. The pictures below show the BDS Hybrid Module and the BDS in an 800 High Capacity GrainGage.
