A CLOSER LOOK AT THE FIELD APPLICATOR
Mirus is an all-season software, and with the Field Applicator plugin, users can utilize Mirus throughout the growing season. The Field Applicator plugin allows operators to control sprayers and spreaders using GPS for an efficient application process. While HarvestMaster offers a simplified setup process, users will need a sprayer and a GPS receiver to get started.
Using imported Mirus maps that identify which treatments to apply on each plot, all operators need to do is drive. Using GPS location, Mirus reads the map then turns on the corresponding treatment at the appropriate time on each plot. This automation minimizes human error and allows researchers to know with confidence exactly what they are putting on their crops. Mirus can control up to 24 different sprayers tanks at a time, saving users time and minimizing the possibility of mixing up treatments.
The Field Applicator can also apply granular material, soil inoculate, and dry fertilizer. The field applicator plugin is very versatile; anything controlled with valves that turn on and off can be controlled through Mirus.
